 HILLTRIBE VEGETARIAN VILLAGE HOMESTAY

In northern Thailand, around 1-2-hour drive from Chiang Mai, there is a small town called Lamphun. This hidden gem is known amongst the locals for its cultural heritage and beautiful scenery.

With the Hilltribe Village Homestay you will be afforded a unique experience into the area. You will be impressed with the lifestyle and cultural diversity of the Paka-Kyaw indigenous people. The village has a strong trust in Buddhism and practice respect to any life.  For this stay you will be served vegetarian meals only.

 Itinerary

DAY1: Chiang Mai- Lamphun (L,D)

We will pick you up by a private vehicle from your hotel in Chiang Mai. On the way to Lamphun we will visit Phra That Ha Duang Temple, which is the main temple in Li.

Lunch will be served.

After arriving in the village, you will check in to your homestay.

Then we will take you on a bicycle tour around the village where you will learn about the local folk wisdom. You will also see silver handicraft work, weaving, natural dyeing and also a traditional welcoming ceremony.

Dinner will be served at your homestay.

Overnight: Simple and comfortable homestay, bedding and mosquito net are provided.

DAY2: Lamphun- Chiang Mai (B,L)

In the morning we will visit the Phra Bat Huai Tom Temple where we will offer food to the local monks.

Afterwards, we will visit the morning market to observe local way of life.

Breakfast will be served.

We will then travel to visit Mae Ping National Park.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

We will then travel back to Chiang Mai where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Chiang Mai International Airport.
