Sustainability Policy
At SiamRiseTravel, we believe travel should create meaning, not just movement. Our mission, Leisure with Impact, guides how we design every journey: with care, respect, and purpose. We ensure that every experience creates connection, empowers communities, protects culture, and nurtures the environment.
As a responsible travel destination management company and a member of the Thai Responsible Tourism Association (TRTA), we apply the TRTA Responsible Travel Criteria throughout our operations and continuously strengthen our performance to ensure tourism remains a force for good for Thailand.
OUR GUIDING COMMITMENTS
Our sustainability approach is grounded in four core commitments aligned with ourmission:
1. Commit - To Responsible Traveland Ethical Practice. We commit to operating responsibly, transparently, and sustainably:
FollowTRTA Responsible Tourism Standards and Thai legal compliance
Prioritize low-impact travel, waste reduction, and carbon-aware transport options
Ensure fair labor practices, employee well-being, inclusive hiring, and capacity building
Select suppliers, guides, transport providers, and partners who share our values
Uphold safety, accuracy, and responsible communication with travelers
2. Connect - Travelers withCulture, People, and Place. Tourism should strengthen understanding, respect, and cultural pride:
Co-create experiences with local communities to consider their social impact
Protect cultural heritage and avoid activities that exploit people, wildlife, or traditions
Encourage travelers to engage mindfully and respectfully with host environments
Facilitate meaningful exchanges that highlight local knowledge and lived experience
3. Customize - Thoughtful, Adaptable, and Value-Aligned Travel. Every journey should reflect responsible choices and traveller values:
Design tailor-made programs that prioritize authenticity, well-being, and cultural respect
Share transparent program information, safety guidance, and responsible travel tips
Support accessibility needs, dietary considerations, and culturally sensitive requests
Continuously review experiences to ensure they remain ethical, respectful, and have a low impact
4. Contribute - To Communities,Equity, and Local Prosperity. Tourism must support not extract from the destinations it touches:
Direct a portion of revenue to community partners, social enterprises, and grassroots projects
Support local sourcing, inclusive employment, and distributed tourism
Strengthen community-based tourism skills, pride, autonomy & long-term resilience
Ensure benefits are shared fairly to improve livelihoods and economic inclusion
5. Environmental Stewardship - Weact to protect nature and reduce our ecological footprint:
Reducing single-use plastics and promoting refill, reuse, repair and recycling
Encouraginglow-carbon travel modes including walking, cycling, EV mobility and local transport
Supporting conservation awareness through meaningful experience design
Monitoring waste, energy, transport use, and footprint reduction efforts
Encouraging travelers and partners to participate in environmental responsibility
6. Traveler Engagement & Education - Ourtravellers play an active role in responsible tourism:
Provide pre-trip guidance, cultural etiquette, and packing advice that reduces impact
Share transparent safety information, weather considerations, and program expectations
Encourage responsible behavior, respect for culture and nature, and mindful consumption
Collect feedback to continually improve ethical performance, safety, and experiencequality
7. Governance, Monitoring & Improvement - Sustainabilityis ongoing, not a destination:
Review this policy annually and update our practices as knowledge evolves
Measure progress using TRTA criteria and internal performance targets
Share learnings with staff, communities, and partners
Commit to training, innovation, and continuous responsible tourism development
