You will be a part of supporting and conserving the local wisdom and it will contribute to an income distribution to the local community as well.

• At 9:30 AM our guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby in Chiang Mai. We will then take a comfortable and private van to reach “Pong Huai Lan Community'', located about 30 km from the city in Ontai Sub-District, San Kamphaeng District (driving time approximately 30 minutes).
• Upon arrival, you will be welcomed warmly by the community’s local guide. We will start our exploration by walking around and learning about the history of the “Pong Huai Lan Community”.
• Experience a local dessert workshop known as “Kanom Khee Maew”. Despite the strangename, these sweets are so hard to find and incredibly yummy!
• Attempt to DIY a “Needlework Cloth Bag” made with aunique local stitch pattern. As an alternative, you could also create your own stitch-pattern to match your style! In the end, you will take back home your creations as souvenirs.
• Local lunch served at the village.
• After lunch, the tour will proceed by wandering a bitmore around the village to stop by the weaving house where you will learn how to weave through local wisdom and knowledge. In short, the procedure begins from the spinning process and then moves to the weaving process. You will be able to experience how to spin and weave on your own as well!
• Moving forward with a day full of adventure, it’s timeto get a new experience by taking a local motorcycle sidecar known as “Saleng” and wandering around the village. You will stop at “Baan Yai Som House” to discover the processes behind the local farm.
• Reaching the last stop, we will keep on riding the “Saleng” and reach the “Huai Lan Reservoir”where we will end our day by admiring a peaceful view provided by the greenery of the surrounding mountains.
• Return trip to your hotel in Chiang Mai City by private van at around 16:00PM.
