Ban Bo Suak is considered a typical small rural village located in the Muang district, Nan Province.
This package allows you to soak in the historical and impressive sights of the area.
It also lets you experience the local way of life through living, eating and learning from the local people.

This expedition supports the community in Nan province in order to improve their community homestay standards. The goal is to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
🍀ITINERARY:
- DAY1: Nan Arrival (-/L/D)
Your local guide will pick you up from the bus terminal/airport and then take you to do some sightseeing at some of the temples in Nan, including the Phumin temple. Phumin is considered the most interesting temple in Nan due to its unique design (there is a Buddha statue in middle of the temple) and stunning wall paintings. These paintings reflect the stories and lives of the Nan people and are approximately 400 years old.
You will then have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch you will be taken to the village where you can check in to your homestay. You will then have some leisure time before dinner, which is with your homestay family.
Overnight: Simple and comfortable homestay, bedding and mosquito net are provided.- DAY2: Nan Discovery (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be served at the homestay.
You will begin the day by visiting a local villagers house which has been opened to the public. On this visit you will see an ancient kiln site and then the Antique Wooden House Museum. This area used to be one of the most significant glazed ceramic production sites in Lanna. It is now used for the local people to understand and learn about the villager’s past, such as the local architecture, tools and equipment that were used on a daily basis.
Then you will have a chance to participate in a pottery workshop and you will be able to take your creation home as a souvenir.
Lunch will be served at the homestay.In the afternoon you will go to the weaver’s house where you can learn about handcraft textiles. There are many unique textile patterns from the villagers, which you can look at and if you like buy as a souvenir.
Dinner will be served at your homestay.

Breakfast at homestay.
Late in the morning, check out and you will be led to the airport/ bus terminal/ train station/ Thai-Laos border in Ubon Ratchathani.
