Ubon Ratchathani also known as UBON is a part of the “Emerald Triangle”, where Thailand, Cambodia and Laos meet. UBON is covered mostly in rice paddies that appear lush green during the rainy season and straw yellow for the rest of the year.
Most of the travellers who cross through UBON do not stay here and continue on to Laos. However, there is much to see and also learn in this area.
