Through a series of workshops, field visits, and knowledge exchanges, TRTA and PSU engaged with tour companies and CBT communities across Thailand. The goal? To co-create a clear, actionable framework that ensures tourism benefits local people, protects cultural and natural heritage, and delivers meaningful experiences to travelers.
The result is a set of Responsible Tourism Criteria for Tour Operators 2025, now officially recognized and certified by TRTA in collaboration with PSU’s Ecotourism Innovation Management Center.
