    • 🍀SOCIAL IMPACT:

This expedition is part of the Community development fund to ensure that every travelers' spending goes to support local people and reducing rural-urban migration.

      🍀ITINERARY:

      • DAY1: Sakon Nakhon Arrival (-/L/ D)

Your guide will meet you at the Sakon Nakhon airport. Here you will be greeted with a refreshing herbal juice/ cold water or snack. Then we will travel to Ban Fang Daeng.
For the first day you will visit an organic garden. There are a variety of hands on activities for you to do according to your interests, such as:
      - Making a Thai herbal compress “Loog Prakob” / woven mat
      - Picking mushrooms/ organic vegetables
      - Rice cultivation, where you can learn about how to plant the rice and also the farmer tools
Local lunch will be prepared with the seasonal ingredients and served at Phang Khon ALC center.
After lunch transfer to Thai-Yoy Tribe Cultural Centre to meet with your host family and check in to your homestay. Afterwards, take local transport or a “saleng” (tricycle) to the Indigo Dye House at Ban Um Hmou. Observe and learn how to weave the indigo blue cloth and make your own unique design. Take your creation home as a souvenir.
Then you will visit Ban Nong Buk Don and learn more about the farmers way of life. Here you will get to go fishing using traditional methods with a local fisherman.

Return to your homestay to finish the day and enjoy some leisure time.
In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner with a Thai-Yoy cultural performance.
Overnight: Simple and comfortable homestay, bedding and mosquito net are provided.

      • DAY2: Sakon Nakhon Departure (B/-/-)

In the morning, pick up a bowl of rice or sticky-rice at Thai-Yoy Cultural Centre. Then go with your host family for morning offering to the monks. This is a little different than the usual offerings as it is the whole village who participates.
Return to your homestay for breakfast.
After breakfast enjoy exploring the beautiful rice paddy fields (this will depend on the season). Then meet at Thai Yoy Cultural Centre to shop for local products.
Say goodbye to your hosts and then it is time to depart to Sakon Nakhon airport.
