    Bangkok, Chiang Mai and KhaoSok National Park are three destinations important in Thailand. Bangkok and Chiang Mai will be the cultural aspect of your trip with its temples, museums and ancient stories. While KhaoSok National park will be the natural aspect of your trip. This national park is exceptional in terms of nature preservation, fauna, flora and preservation program created by itself.

    This 10 day-trip will allow you to discover Bangkok and its night life. Plus, you will discover hidden spot and encounter local people, giving you a wonderful experience with them. Add to it, your stop in Chiang Mai, the north of Thailand, where you will visit the main attractions as well as Chiang Do, a small city full of gems. To finish, your best experience will surely be KhaoSok National Park. Going in the rainforest and discover the fauna and flora with private guide is an unforgettable experience.

    This expedition supports the local people throughout your journey, the Khlong Yong Community in Bangkok, the Mae Mae Shan Village in Chiang Dao and, KhaoSok National Park's nature preservation  in Surat Thani.

    🍀ITINERARY:

    • DAY1: Bangkok Arrival (-/-/D)

    We will pick you up at airport in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi/Don Muang airport), before heading you to your hotel by private air-conditioned vehicle.

    You will be free until 6:00 pm, then your local guide will lead you to Yao Wa Rat street, the heaven of street food in Chinatown area. After visiting the main attractions in Chinatown, you will taste a full course Thai-Chinese style food including a dessert. Afterward, you will experience a tuk-tuk ride to explore the colorful Bangkok at night. You will visit the Flower Market, Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha Temple) at night followed by stories of the King and a stop at a rooftop bar. After enjoying your drink, we will bring you back to your hotel, the Prime Hotel Bangkok.

     

     

    • DAY2: Bangkok Hidden Tour (B/L/-)

    You will have your breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, we will lead you to the western side of Bangkok for an hour by a private minivan. We will visit the Nakhon Pathom the Garden of Bangkok, where local ingredients such as rice, fruits and flowers are produced here. You will encounter Khlong Yong community, a group of farmer producing organic rice without any chemical products and preserving the soil. They will show you their rice fields by local tractor, explain their agricultural techniques and, visit a farmer house.

     

    For the lunch, we will go back to the community center to try organic rice from the farmers. Then, you will join them to make a traditional thai dessert made from rice.

     

    At the end of the day, we will return to Bangkok by private minivan and drop you at Prime Hotel Bangkok.

     

    • DAY3: Bangkok Classic (B/L/-)

    You will take your breakfast at your hotel and checkout before leaving your luggage there.

     

    We will take you to Grand Palace by public transport. This attraction is famous its architecture, decorations and the greatest Thai Fine Art Gallery. Nowadays, this is where royal ceremonies take place, allowing Thai people to encounter the Royal Family and the King. After this, we will visit Wat Pho, the university of Thai wisdom. Beside the well-known Reclining Buddha, you will be able to see a collection of Thai Massage and Thai Medicine figure.

     

    For your lunch, you will take it at a local restaurant.

    Then, we will take the public transportation to go to Wat Saket (Golden Mount), a low hill crowned with a gleaming gold chedi. With its 77 meters, you can easily get a Bangkok of bird's-eye view. We will then visit Baan Bat (Monk's Bowl Village), a small village with an age-old crafting bowls from raw steel using only their hands and a hammer. After this, we will walk to the "Buddha Street" in the center of the old town.

     

    in the late afternoon, we will use public transportation to go back at your hotel to take your luggage. Your local guide will then, lead you to Hua Lamphong Railway station for the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

     

    Express Train scheduled: Hua Lamphong 6:10pm - Chiang Mai 7:15 am.

     

    • DAY4: Chiang Mai Arrival (B/L/-)

    In the morning, your local guide will lead you to the city to have a local breakfast. Then, we will do the heritage walks in the old town of Chiang Mai including Wat Phrathat Doi Sutep.

    The temple is 3,500 feet (1,053 meters) above the sea level and offer you a breathtaking view of the city with clouds and mist. If you are lucky enough, you will be ablet to see the Ping Valley during a sunny day.

    We will give you two options to visit this temple : by foot (306 steps up on a Naga (serpent) staircase) or by a small cable car.

     

    Afterward, we will return to Chiang Mai town, check-in at your hotel (Atpingnakorn Nimmanhaemin) and leave you until the next day.

     

    • DAY5: Chiang Mai - Hike and Bike to Chiang Dao (B/L/D)

    In the morning, you will have your breakfast before going for a 1-hour drive to Chiang Dao drop off point. On the road, we will stop at the local market to take foods and drinks for your upcoming trek.

     

    In Chiang Dao, we will start a short trek to a waterfall where you will relax in the cool water. After this, we will continue our trekking until our final destination, Mae Mae Shan Village.

     

    The rest of the afternoon, we will give you free time in your homestay, Tree House Village. You can relax yourself, enjoy the veranda with a stunning view, read a book, etc.

     

    In the evening, your dinner will be prepared and served by the local.

     

    • DAY6: Chiang Mai (B/L/-)

    You will have your breakfast at your homestay, before visiting Mae Mae Village School. This boarding school allows children to get an educational and knowledge about other ethnic groups surrounding them.

    After the school visit, we will start a 2-hours morning trek. We will start from the village, following a small stream flowing down the mountains, to our pick up point. Then, we will go to our lunch stop by car.

     

    Note: School is available only from Monday to Friday.

     

    After lunch, you will go to Ping River by bike. You will see the countryside made of farm communities, small villages, fauna and flora. Overall, the beauty of northern Thailand. To finish, we will visit Banden Temple before returning back to Chiang Mai and drop you at you hotel.

     

    • DAY7: Chiang Mai - KhaoSok (B/-/D)

    In the morning, you will have your breakfast at your hotel before heading to Chiang Mai airport by private minivan.

     

    Arrived in Surat Thani airport, we will go to KhaoSok National Park, a place where colored limestone mountains rises sharply above the untouched forests. We will check-in at KhaoSok Jungle Resort and have some free time.

     

    In the afternoon, you will join a local community group for a canoe trip. We will make a stop to enjoy a hot drink with your local guides and learn the techniques they use to preserve the environment.

     

    In the evening, we will go back to KhaoSok Jungle Resort, enjoy a dinner at the restaurant before going back to your room.

     

    • DAY8: KhaoSok Lake Bungalow (B/L/D)

    In the morning, you will have your breakfast before heading to Cheow Lan Lake. There, you will board on a long tail boat with your guide and visit Gui Lin Scenic area. You will be able to swim here.

    For your lunch, you will have it a your private raft house.

    Then, you will go to a jungle hike to discover KhaoSok wildlife and plan species with the help of your guide. Depends on your guide, you will visit Bang Hoi Waterfall, or Diamond Cave or another site.

     

    In the evening, you will go for an evening safari to see animals on their natural environment. To finish, you will have your dinner and sleep at your private raft house.

     

    • DAY9: KhaoSok Lake Bungalow (B/L/D)

    In the morning, you will have your breakfast before having some free time. You can choose to swim, do some kayaking, reading or even going back to sleep.

    For the lunch, you will have it at the raft house before going for a 4-hour hike in the world's oldest forest.

    In the evening, you will have your dinner at the raft house before going back to your room.

     

    • DAY10: Lake Departure (B/-/-)

    For the last day, you will do a morning boat safari. You will observe the wildlife while drifting along the water. Then, we will go back to the raft house to have a breakfast and checkout at 10:00am.

     

    With a private minivan, we will drop you at Surat Thani airport or ferry pier to Koh Samui, Krabi or Phuket.
