New extension trip for who are looking for some active and local experience journey from Sukhothai to Northern Thailand. Trip includes 2-night accommodation 1-night homestay and DIY course with local artisans.
Day1: Sukhothai Arrival (D)
Transfer available from Sukhothai bus station or airport to the hotel in Sukhothai.
In the evening, meet and go to the local restaurant for welcome dinner.
Overnight at hotel/resort in Sukhothai.
Day2: Sukhothai Cycling - Amulet Making (B,L)
Meet and greet at your hotel in Sukhothai. Check out and transfer by local transport to where our morning cycling tour is. Your luggage will be transferred to the hotel. Enjoy your half-day morning to discover the hidden path of Sukhothai local communities. Visit the local bamboo weaving, the teak wood factory that runs by cooperation and tasting the local rice whiskey (a family local own factory).
Lunch at a local Thai restaurant
In the afternoon, transfer to your hotel and take a short break (optional Thai Massage can also be arranged). At 03.30pm, continue our journey to do a workshop with local artisans who have strong knowledge in Buddhism and expert in traditional amulet making.
Afterwards, take an outbound tour of Sukhothai historical park and take a short walk up to the hilltop temple and end up with the sunset at Saritphong Dam. Afterward, return to your hotel.
Dinner: Enjoy your own dinner.

Day3: Sukhothai - Sawankhalok - Si Satchanalai (B/L/D)
Breakfast will be served at the hotel/resort.
After breakfast, then check out and depart Sukhothai for hands-on activities in Sawankhalok and Si Satchanalai area. This morning meets with our local writer who will take us to walk into the history of Sawankhalok town. Take an hour walking tour starts from Sawankhalok railway station through to the old trade area and end up at the former police station. Don’t miss to be a prisoner.
Afterwards, take a short drive to “Rong Na Ban Rai”. The rest of this morning enjoy DIY activities includes; making Kite, Kao Tom Mud a Thai traditional sweet or known as “Sticky rice in banana leaf and try yourself to cook traditional Sawankhalok Noodles.
Lunch: enjoy your own cook noodles and sweet!
In the afternoon, continue our drive to Si Satchanalai where we will spend overnight homestay with aging families. We will visit one of the local family who makes “Traditional Thai Dance Costume”. This family owned business also support and hire many aging families to make small parts of the Royal Costume. Opportunity to try making a small piece of this beautiful parts.
Afterwards check in to homestay and enjoy learning how to make a traditional Thai set of welcome ceremony or “Kraung Bai Sri”.
In the evening, Welcome ceremony and enjoy your dinner together / free at leisure
Overnight at the local homestay.
Day4: Sukhothai Departure (B/L/-)
wake up early to participate a morning offering with your host family. Experience how local people give alms to the Buddhist monks.
Afterward, enjoy your breakfast with your host family. Pack up and say goodbye to your lovely host family.
This morning visit “Srisatchanalai Historical Park” before departing to Chiang Mai.
Lunch at local Thai Restaurant
In the afternoon, continue your journey to further Northern Thailand. Drop off at your hotel in Chiang Mai. (Drop off available at Sukhothai Airport)
