DAY1: BANGKOK - CHANTHABURI (-,L,-)
In the morning, your local guide will pick you up from your hotel in Bangkok or the airport at 8:00AM.
Then you will drive by private van to Chanthaburi province which is known for its impressive jewellery markets and delicious food!
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Here you can choose from some of the areas famous dishes such as curry pork with Chamuang leaves and stir-fried rice noodle with crabmeat.
In the afternoon, we will check in at Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn. This house was renovated from the old building to be accommodation. They are pleased to preserve the original structure and decorated the space follow to the community vision. Take some rest to be recharged from travel.
Then we will take a boat trip to visit Uncle’s Tom the oyster farm, one of the local oyster farms in Chanthaburi. Here you will get to taste some fresh oysters.
Dinner at local restaurant on your own cost.
Overnight at Baan Luang Rajamaitri Historic Inn.
DAY2: CHANTHABURI - BANGKOK (B,L,-)
In the morning, breakfast will be served at the hotel.
Then we will walk around Chantabun Community on Leapnatee road, which is the first road of Chanthaburi province.
At an old town on Chanthaburi waterfront you will be able to taste some local food and desserts. These are not traditional dishes and you will taste food that has been influenced from Thailand, China and Vietnam.
Here you can also learn how to make a local dessert such as Kanom-Goh or Viet-Cinese cultured cake (made from rice flour). Also, why not taste the signature drink, Kumquat Orange juice.
Then visit The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the religious place which is very important for Christians.
Then we will visit a fruit garden at Rak Khao Bai Si Village. This village has been opened to tourists so that people will come, visit and learn about the fruit and the lives of the farmers.
Here you can join in on a cooking demonstration with secret recipe lunch.
Then you can visit Khao Bai Si Farm Women Community Group and try some 5-star rated local products. Enjoy shopping here too before set off from Chantaburi and arrive in Bangkok at 07:00PM.
