It is then time to enjoy a handicraft workshop. Here you can learn about the traditional art of Moken weaving which uses Pandanus leaves from the forest. You will get to make a bracelet which you can keep as a souvenir!

After that there will be a hike into the forest where your guide will show you important plants such as medicinal herbs, edible species, and those used in the construction of traditional houseboats and houses. Then it is time to enjoy snorkeling! The Moken guide will take you to a wonderland of colourful tropical fish and show you some Moken swimming techniques.

Overnight camping at the national park.

DAY2: Life of Sea Gypsies (B,L,D)

Today you can enjoy the clear waters and also watch as your Moken guide spots sea turtles swimming in the water. You can then go snorkeling with your guide or if you prefer return to the village to spend more time with your new friends.

Afterwards you will return to the park headquarters where you may even see some flying lemurs and macaque monkeys.

DAY3: Moken Life (B,L,-)

In the morning you can try and row a Moken “row‐boat’’ and also re-enact their method of spear fishing (you will not spear a live fish). Then you can spend more time in the village or head out for one more snorkel exploration.
