This experience will support the community where theycan preserve the cultures, local food, local wisdom, and dialect together with creating a new experience. There will also empower the young generation to work and live in their hometown instead of the big city.

• In the morning at 09.30 AM., the guide will pickyou up at the hotel lobby (Chiang Mai City). Then we will go to visit “Pong Huay Lan Community” by private van (approx. 30 min. drive), the small community where is located in Ontai Sub-District, San Kamphaeng District, Ching Mai (30
  km. distance from Chiang Mai City).
• Upon arrival, you will meet the local guide with a warm welcome. Then it’s time to explore the community by walking to see and listen to the story of the “Pong
  Huay Lan Community”.
• Enjoy doing the “Local Dessert Workshop” called “Kanom Khee Maew”. The namelooks quite sound strange, but it’s yummy and hard to find to eat!
• Do the “DIY Needlework Cloth Bag” with the unique local pattern stitchor you can create your own pattern style and bring it back as a souvenir.
• Local lunch will be served at the village.
• After lunch, we will continue walking in the village to visit the weaving house where you can learn how to weave with the local wisdom which starts from the spinning process, then the weaving process, and you can get experience with spinning and weaving as well.
• It’s time to get a new experience by taking the Saleng or the local motorcycle sidecar to visit Ban Yai Som’s house which is the next stop where you can learn
  how to do the organic farm. Then the last stop, we will continue taking the Saleng to visit the nice view of the “Huay Lan Reservoir”which is surrounded by the greenery of mountains.
• Return to your hotel in Chiang Mai City by private van around 16.00 PM.
